Mark was asked in Las Vegas what would be the best ending for Lucifer now more and more people realise that Lucifer was right all along.
Clearly world domination and recreating the universe in the image of his own likeness. But I don’t think that’s going to happen. Lucifer is trapped in The Empty and Nick is dead.

The person who asked the question pointed out Sam and Dean come back. Mark said Lucifer’s not like Sam and Dean, his laugh suggesting he knew more — which he then confirmed.
Sometimes it’s hard to tell where Mark ends and Lucifer starts!
