I’m not blaming 2 billion people. I’m blaming a toxic set of ideas, that some people practice consistently to the effect that you’ve just seen above and some people don’t. My honest sensibility is that all orthodox expressions of religion are unhealthy and lead to these kinds of physical abuse and breaches of right.
