So… Frankie’s kidney levels have dropped to normal. (They were telling me it was hopeless…thank dad I had them retest) two days of fluids have really helped. He still has pancreatic inflammation… and they’re doing an ultra sound now to make sure it’s not cancer. Fingers crossed that it’s only inflammation. I’ve been crying my eyes out for two days… up all night to be there every minute with him.

So I was certain that I would have to put Frankie to sleep today. The doctors said no one comes back from kidney numbers as bad as his. But his little body rallied. His kidney numbers are good again, but still inflammation in the pancreas and gall bladder. So… not eating. Tough time to travel, but I’m taking him with me to Toronto. Wish us luck. I’m grateful that I have some more time with my guy. Thanks for all your healing thoughts. Keep thinking them. We’ll need them.
