Authoritarian regimes can’t make claims of sovereignty. Just an FYI to amoral wanna be tyrants who can’t connect inconvenient moral truths. If states don’t respect the sovereignty of their own citizens they are not themselves sovereign. And any state that does can indeed invade the other state since it has no moral or legal right to exist. The only question is, should it.
