First off, Hayek was fond of saying that Keynes was NOT an economist. He was a mathematician. Tell me where the ‘demand’ for Ford cars was before there was infrastructure? Or microwaves. Or cell phones. Or computers. Production CREATES demand. He has confused (Keynes) About cause and effect. He would be rolling over in his grave re the deficit spending going on today, but he started the ball rolling with his bad monetary theories. They have CAUSED one financial crisis after another.
