America was built on the principle of individual rights

America was built on the principle of individual rights. Slavery predates America… predates the European slave trade, and was practiced on every continent on earth. In America It accounted for 4% of the American economy… (so America was NOT built on slavery) in fact, the southern southern economy was feudal, and slave apologists rejected capitalism the heart of Americanism… the American slave trade amounted to 11% of the transatlantic slave trade… was banned in half the colonies immediately upon the embrace of the declaration… was practiced by 25% of the southern population…. And largely understood by the founders to be an immoral institution that would die on the vine… they were wrong. As for Aboriginals, conquest and warfare between Abigail groups was rampant in meso America, and in pre colonial and post colonial America. They made war, enslaved each other, committed ritual murder, allied with European powers for advantage… in other words… they did thee same shot everyone else did. To miss the great civilizing force of the declaration and the constitution and to define it by what it essentially isn’t… is BULLSHIT…
