‘The state generates NO income. They take it… but beyond that you’re presuming that the most corrupt class in ALL of history can be trusted to perpetuate ITSELF… make rules for itself and finance itself through taxation. Election laws are and SHOULD be a state phenomenon via legislatures. That is an effective CHECK on federal power. The state should NOT be empowered with financing the method of its own perpetuation. They stay or go at OUR pleasure. Not theirs.’
