Mark shared a memory of the cast of Little Surprises, saying it caught his attention while he was working out in the garage, later adding that some of the cast members — Sam Whipple (Joe Junior), Christine Cavanaugh (Pepper), Rod Steiger (Joe), and Julie Harris (Ethel) — have since died, and Christine Cavanaugh was the original voice of Babe.

This short is one of my favourites of Mark’s movies. His performance is magical! This reminder makes me want to watch Little Surprises again this evening, so I’ll post a summary and some clips later in the week.
