I like having fun. And I think I’ve discovered a way to have fun even when I’m mad. A beautiful thing about acting is no matter how mad you get, or how sad you get, you’re creating. It’s all play; they call it a screenplay, a teleplay, a play, and so, no matter what you’re doing, you’re playing. So as long as I can always feel that sense like I’m free and doing what I want, I’m happy — whether it’s a funny scene, or a snarky scene, or a tough one like angry or sad. It’s all good if you just let yourself go and take the ride. But I like torturing people with sarcasm.
