Once we let the government control one aspect of our lives, that enables it to control every other aspect of our lives in the name of the public good. Organising into some form of pressure group is then in your interests, and voting becomes vital, because you’ve put your life in the hand of these bureaucrats. The way out is a laissez-faire society, where living is the way you get ahead and not who’s in government.
