Self-detonating assumptions

Tell a radical skeptic that reality is a background assumption. And they’ll tell you why it shouldn’t be, why you don’t perceive it, and why you’re a fool for thinking that. Forget that HIS assumptions are self detonating. They don’t see it. It’s philosophy that informs him that reality exists or is a figment of his imagination; that he can know or that knowledge is impossible to him. Which orientation to the world and the mind results in better mental health?
